Please analyze this: 33 year-old man with everything except a woman?

By the way, I’m married. This is about a friend. Seriously.

He’s a highly educated 33-year old guy with a professional career. Earns plenty of money. Owns a yacht. Dresses well. I’ve known he was single, however, recently I noticed that he is shy around women. He just clams up and can’t talk.

I found out that he hasn’t had a girlfriend in five years. Also, he hasn’t slept with a girl in two years (I still don’t know the circumstance of this …)

I’m at a loss. He doesn’t seem gay. We’ve gone out for drinks, and he seems physically attracted to women, not men.

He’s not a model-type. He’s medium height, not fat, but not athletic. I’ve seen much uglier men who have no problem dating.

I can’t understand how this is possible. Based on what I’ve said, could you analyze this guy?
